Code of Conduct
The Python Norte event commits to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all people involved. Our goal is to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences in a welcoming and pluralistic way.
For this purpose, the event organization counts on a Response Team that acts to ensure an environment with these qualities.
Therefore:
- No harassment of any kind, inappropriate discrimination or public humiliation is tolerated.
- No violation of Brazilian laws is tolerated.
- Everyone present at the event, regardless of their role, is subject to these rules.
In this way, we understand that:
- Harassment is any behavior that violates the good humor, intimacy or dignity of another person.
- Inappropriate discrimination is any behavior that violates the good humor, intimacy or dignity of another person.
- Public humiliation is any behavior that violates the good humor, intimacy or dignity of another person.
As the event may include the participation of children and adolescents, we seek to maintain an appropriate environment for all age groups. Therefore, language and sexually suggestive images are not appropriate for presentations, activities and promotional actions of sponsors.
If you felt harassed, discriminated or humiliated, or witnessed any inappropriate behavior, please contact the Code of Conduct Response Team using the contact form.
If there is a report of violation of these principles, the Response Team will perform the necessary analysis and, when necessary, take action to prevent recurrence. These actions may, but do not restrict or imply going from a conversation seeking retraction to an invitation to withdraw from the event indefinitely.
Our commitment is to ensure that the Python Norte is a welcoming, diverse and respectful space for the entire community.
This Code of Conduct is based on the version prepared by Python Brasil & APyB (Python Brasil Association) - Python Brasil Code of Conduct
